Nesting

It's a full moon in Cancer this month. Not only am I a cancer, but Cancer is ruled by the moon and I've been feeling that strong pull into nesting mode. Cancer, the sign of home and hearth. It's been challenging moving from being a homeowner into renting again. Especially in a furnished rental surrounded by foreign things. But as this month winds up, it's time to finish up this adventure and move onto the next. Things feel different this time around. There's a known at the end of all this moving. Every move prior has been a series of unknowns, and many many times settling for things we knew would eventually make us move again.

We've dubbed this time in the cabin on the hill as an extended vacation. Living in such a beautiful and peaceful place has rendered us lazy, but perhaps what we've needed to nurture ourselves back to stability. Staying here has also given us a glimpse into the peacefulness we've craved in becoming landowners.
